ACTION INGREDIENTS:
  • Lactic Acid-This alpha-hydroxy acid ,derived from fermented milk, has been used in skincare for centuries as a source of skin smoothing and skin softening and also as a vehicle for exfoliation in higher concentrations. It can improve skin texture and increase hydration and has become an essential ingredient due to it's mild skin enhancing effects. Lactic acid can improve the skin's appearance by one of two ways; either by offering moisturization for dry mature skin or by helping to exfoliate dead skin cells and increasing the rate of cell turnover. It can help stimulate collagen production, act as an astringent, and help rid the skin of impurities. It can also help with photo-aging and sun-damaged skin thereby improving skin texture, radiance, and luminosity.
  • Glycolic Acid- A powerful effective exfoliator for aiding in skin turnover, glycolic acid is the most active and beneficial of alpha-hydroxy-acids. It is used to improve skin texture, refine skin tone and even out complexion giving a healthy and natural glow to dull, tired skin.
  • Salicylic Acid- A beta-hydroxy acid derived from the willow bark tree which helps to decongest skin and reduce blemishes and black heads.
